Ophthalmic Technician

Caring for patients from start to finish which includes review of history and medications, preliminary work-up, diagnostic testing, intraocular treatment when necessary, and other miscellaneous jobs as required. Must be able to document and complete charting requirements in EMR in a timely manner.

Ophthalmic Certifications highly recommended!

Patient Care Representative/Hallway Monitor

Applying a cheerful disposition while checking patients in and out of the clinic, verifying insurance eligibility, answering incoming phone calls, scheduling and managing appointments, and other administrative duties. Must be able to multi-task, answer multiple phone lines at once and type at least 50 words per minute.

Intern Position/Clinic Assistant

Individual who can support the administrative needs of a busy retina clinic. Must be willing to work a minimum of 20 hours a week. Knowledge of Excel, Word, PDF Creator is a must. Critical thinking skills are necessary. Will learn our EMR, and will need to help with phones and scheduling patients. Must be willing to help run errands outside of the clinic during clinic hours.

Insurance Prior Authorization Representative

Individual will be responsible for obtaining benefits verification and necessary authorizations (referrals, recertification, drug auth, and surgery auth). The candidate must be able to communicate effectively, and be highly organized to work in a fast-paced environment.
